Alie didn’t know what the hell she was doing up the stage and confronting the Glee club. Yes, you had it right, Alie Bennett had been convinced to take a chance and go hit for the club. She had always been secretly interested in it and for now on, she was going to show off her skills. She couldn’t hide that she was embarrassed, holding an electric guitar while staring at everyone awkwardly. She recognized Sam whom she had met during her summer vacations a few others were familiar to her since she had been to the Barbecue, oh and there was Addison too. Yes, she was going to focus on the girl.
She tapped her microphone before blushing lightly. Here came nothing she thought before opening her mouth to introduce herself. “Hum, hello, my name is Alie Bennett and I am going to sing one of my compositions, Misery Business.” At this, she turned around nodding at the musicians as the battery player began to play the rough partitions she had given and joined with the guitar as she approached the microphone.
“I'm in the business of misery,
Let's take it from the top.
She's got a body like an hourglass, it's ticking like a clock.
It's a matter of time before we all run out,
When I thought he was mine she caught him by the mouth.”
She played the notes along as she sang. She couldn’t hide the nervousness she was having while performing in front of a group of people who had much more experience than her in this matter.
“I waited eight long months,
She finally set him free.
I told him I couldn't lie he was the only one for me.
Two weeks and we caught on fire,
She's got it out for me,
But I wear the biggest smile.
Whoa, i never meant to brag.
But I got him where I want him now.
Whoa, it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now.
But God does it feel so good,
Cause I got him where I want him now.
And if you could then you know you would.
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good. »
She smiled soon though, as she was starting to feel easier and even started to do some rocking move and head banging-why not, the song was meant for it.
“
Second chances they don't ever matter, people never change.
Once a whore you're nothing more, I'm sorry, that'll never change.
And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged.
I'm sorry honey, but I passed it up, now look this way.
Well there's a million other girls who do it just like you.
Looking as innocent as possible to get to who,
They want and what they like it's easy if you do it right.
Well I refuse, I refuse, I refuse!
Whoa, i never meant brag
But I got him where I want him now.
Whoa, it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now.
But God does it feel so good,
'Cause I got him where I want him right now.
And if you could then you know you would.
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good.
I watched his wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving you
Just watch my wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving...
Whoa, i never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now.
Whoa, i never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now.
Whoa, it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now.
But God does it feel so good,

She did a little guitar solo and as soon as she was done singing, she held the final note for a few seconds before returning her attention to everyone else, praying to the lord she hadn’t made a fool of herself. “Thank you..”
