the site rules *
welcome to Go Your Own Way, a GLEE rp that takes place in well, where else, OHIO. i know you just want to get to the actual roleplaying, but please take the time to just read (or skim over) these rules before starting. there's not many, don't worry.
one please please respect the admins or future admins that may come and the members of this site, regardless of whether you are a member yourself or just a guest who is stopping by. please don't start fights out of character, i'm sure everyone would like Go Your Own Way to be a fun and friendly place, not a living hell.
two when you register, you can sign up with any name you like, although upon setting up your profile, please change it to first and last. for example: Finn Hudson, however when applying do fill out a first, middle and last name. this just makes things all neat and tidy.
three before you even consider roleplaying, please post your application and wait to be accepted. whoa, wait, before you protest, it's short and easy. relax. we are accepting canons and OC's, so please feel free to apply as you wish. Also do know we would like the character gender to be equal so if you are going to have more than one character please be equal. For example if you play a girl, your next OC (or canon) has to be a guy or vice versa.
four here at Go Your Own Way, we don't believe in a word count, well at least a lengthy one. mainly because the admin (Lisa) is like super lazy, but I at least try okay? so all we ask is that you try to match the posts of the person you're roleplaying with. that's not too much to ask is it?
five one thing that drives the admin (Lisa) crazy is god modding. please please don't do it. for those of you who aren't quite sure on what it is, it's basically controlling someone else's character. just don't do it, please please please.
six almost done, sorry about this. please do not stretch the board, either with your signatures or posts. graphics should not be any wider than 500 px.The Admin (Lisa) has spent close to 2 days making this site pretty and would kill you if you ruined it now.
seven finally, Go Your Own Way is rated accordingly and along with Proboards rules. Please be cautious of what you post. Cursing is allowed, however please keep sexual posts at a minimal.
