The rancid mix of teenage sweat and hormones infilitrated Sue Sylvester's delicate senses. The halls of McKinley High were absolutely wrank with the stench of over-zealous freshmen, intent on making some pathetic name for themselves. The plastic fake-boobed nose jobs meandered through the halls and into the Cheerios. The slow-witted muscle boys found comfort in playing with balls in tight pants. These were the cream of the crop that this joke of an educational institution had to offer. These aspiring Prom Kings and Queens knew that the key to surviving high school was to encompass yourself with an air of superiority and bad attitude. This was called being popular.
The glee kids never understood that basic principle. They never understood that it was not so much what you did that mattered, but how you did it. Even the AV club could be popular if the kids were not such unequivocal losers. And Sue Sylvester was going to prove just that. Sue had an announcement that would rock the very core of McKinley High School. Her only regret was that she could not see the look on Will Schuester's face while she stomped on his figurative little man pebbles. Nonetheless, there would certainly be plenty of opportunities in the future to rub Will's face in her impending victory.
Becky Jackson tapped the xylophone and Sue cleared her through. God, she loved making announcements over the intercom, her voice resonating all across McKinley like she were God himself. Clearing her throat, she began, "Greetings, peons. For the newbies out there, this is the voice of Coach Sue Sylvester, your newest role model. No doubt, you've seen my spot on the local news." Sue paused, allowing them to express their awe and admiration for the local celebrity.
"I'm here to inform you all of the newest, coolest, and even more importantly, winningest new club to hit McKinley since my Cheerios were instituted some years ago. Ladies and gentlemen, it is with utmost pleasure that I announce the SUEpremes, McKinley's latest musical ensemble. Unlike a certain other so-called glee club, the SUEpremes will wow audiences without the help of instruments, and without the help of male voices. That's right, the very first female a cappella group hits McKinley this fall, with Sue Sylvester at the helm. Think about it ladies. Think about what all you can accomplish without a rag tag gang of clumsy oafs stumbling into your spotlight. If you are interested, excuse me, of course everyone without an Y chromosome is interested. If you're talented, come see me in my office. I'll be waiting. Oh, and to my Cheerios, if you expect to continue wearing that uniform, I expect so see you doing a song and dance in front of me. You may now return to your regularly scheduled classes." Folding her arms, Sue leaned back in her desk, confident that any second now, a screaming mob of high school girls to come flooding in.

*Bing, bing bing* meant only one thing in Will's head, another self-indulgent Sue announcement. He rolled his eyes and looked over sheet music, sipping a caramel mocha latte.
That went spraying all over with Sue's announcement of the SUEpremes! "You have got to be kidding me!" He said to himself out loud. Ignoring the coffee mess that was all over, he stormed from the classroom to Sue's office.
There was a look of determination on his face, there was no way that the track suited one was going to get away with this!! He pushed the door open with a force that a few papers scattered to the floor.
"Really Sue? A girl group?" He crossed his arms over his chest.

Sue Sylvester could feel it when the insipid teletubby of a high school teacher approached her off, something in the mix of Old Spice bodyspray and barely laundered sweatervests alerted her senses as the positively belligerent man entered her office, as if he expected her to provide some explanation for the formation of the SUEpremes. Not looking up from her papers, which happened to be a detailed list of potential recruits, she replied calmly, "Yes, William, a girl group."
Sue allowed the silence to linger for a moment before finally looking up, giddy with delight as she got to see her colleague all riled up and ready for war. "What? You think a bad hair cut and the ability to urinate while standing is necessary to direct a glee club? Or is it that you don't think the girls of McKinley are capable of being successful without the help of the boys? Honestly, I find your blatant machismo sexism to be absolutely abhorrent. And I, for one, won't stand for it."
Sue was enjoying this. Not only did she get to cause Will Schuester distress, but she got to accuse him of sexism. Why had she not thought of this any earlier? "I would hate to have to inform Principal Figgins of your filthy, disgusting behavior."

From everything Addison had heard, to several things she had witnessed herself, one thing was certain. Coach Sylvester was not to be trifled with.
The announcement had come while Addison was treading the hallway, with no real sense of direction. She was like a feather, just floating on from one place to the next, not entirely caring where her feet carried her. But as much as Addie tried to ignore it, that announcement did spark a bit of interest in her. And with that, the wheels started turning in her head. So she had to weigh the pros and cons of the decision that she was going to make.
Joining an all female a cappella definitely had it's perks. Especially to a girl like Addison... not that being in a room full of girls, mostly cheerios, would be the reason for her joining the group. Despite what everyone thought about Coach Sylvester, she sure did know how to win. And you know what? It would be nice for Addie to have a positive moment in her life, since there hadn't seemed to be many in a long time. Winning nationals could certainly do that for her. And maybe some of the kids around school might respect her a little more after that. If Sue was on her side, then people were going to be a little less likely to slushy her on her way to class.
But would Coach Sylvester even be on her side? Would she even accept Addison into the group? She was such a heinous and hateful lady, or so Addie had witnessed. She made life a living hell for everyone in New Directions. Who was to say that joining the SUEpremes wasn't going to be a nightmare? She would have to put up with Sue's snarky and annoying remarks on a daily basis, and she'd probably take a few blows here or there. Addison knew she was talented, but Sue probably wouldn't hesitate to put her down. So was it really worth a shot?
Right now, Addison was a part of New Directions. That would be enough of a reason for her to be accepted into the SUEpremes, because that would be one less voice for the New Directions, and Coach Sylvester would probably appreciate that. It didn't feel right, betraying the New Directions. But as her feet were turned in the direction of Coach Sylvester's office, she found herself unable to stop. As if there was a higher power directing her that way. And as she walked, she found herself making excuses for herself. She hadn't been in New Directions for very long, so she wasn't exactly great friends with many of them yet. And what had a man ever done for her? Give her a slushy facial and throw nasty words in her direction. And those that weren't rude just treated her like one of the guys. So why not be one of the girls for once?
And soon, she arrived, knocking lightly on the door before entering. She wasn't surprised to see Mr. Schuester in her office already, but she was surprised to find that she was the first one to have arrived, or so it appeared. "Hi Mr. Schue," Addison said softly to him as she passed him and approached Sue. This was awkward, because it was like she was betraying the New Directions right in front of Mr. Shue...this couldn't end well. "Coach Sylvester," she finally said, "I'm interested in joining your a cappella group."

Will closed his eyes tightly the squeezed the bridge of his nose. "Sue, you directing a choir would be like me taking over the Cheerios!" He sighed and opened his eyes. He was still at school but living in a nightmare.
Sue's accusation took Will off guard. "What? Did I, no Sue no! I just think you don't know what you're getting into. There's a lot more to it than just picking a song and going here sing this." This was going to be like talking to a brick wall. "You read way too much into what I said." He shook his head as the door opened.
He tried to give a happy smile to Addison but it came out more like a sneer. That sneer grew when Addison dropped the bomb. "Addison, why?" Will knew that could mean trouble, if one girl left New Directions, the others would follow like lemmings. Except for those dedicated to New Directions, which would leave Rachael and possibly Mercedes. He looked Addison in the eyes, with a serious face. "You sure you want to do that? How about thinking it over a couple of days?"

Coach Sylvester was a role model, someone she would always relay to as a fighter and someone who succeeded in life, someone who was capable to destroy any kind of competition within an eye blink. Adele loved the woman and vowed her highest of her respect, which really, she was probably the only person in school who ever deserved it. Not to add that hearing the news in the hallways of the school made her day. Oh, a choir to compete against Schuester’s No directions? To show them who were the winners and that banning the Cherrios last year was totally a lack of respect.
Hearing it, she quickly changed her track, heading to Sue’s office; as the Captain of the cherrios, she had to show the example and she knew that the teacher would love to see her there the first representative of the girls. Besides, if she wanted to stay on top and even be on top of that show choir thing, she had to give Sue what she wanted, the soul of a warrior. She had it, it was in her blood, and she would show her and prove her that she could kill the competition within a glimpse.
She made her way to the door way and knocked three time before walking in and to see she wasn’t alone. She noticed the lesbo girl, arched an eyebrow at her but didn’t say anything and an infuriated Schuester, which made her smirk widely before turning her attention to her coach.
“I am here, coach, and interested into joining the choir.” She cooed mentally laughing at the lame competition they were having. Oh this was going to be beautiful, she could feel it. Besides, even if she wasn’t a fan of it, she was a good singer (she had to admit) and a god damn good dancer. She wasn’t the captain of the cherrios for nothing! She had to keep her status and to make sure that no one would steal it. Being at the top of the school wasn’t going to be easy this year but she would keep it, now that Fabray was out of the league.

Quinn had been at her locker, sorting out her books for next period when she heard Sue’s announcement. Oh, and to my Cheerios, if you expect to continue wearing that uniform, I expect so see you doing a song and dance in front of me. You may now return to your regularly scheduled classes." The coach had said, the whole idea sounding more than a little stupid.
Sue had never, ever mentioned anything about creating a Glee Club and wasn’t she supposed to hate them? Though, as soon as she remembered what she’d said about the Cheerios, she knew she had to join. After all, she’d just gotten life back exactly the way she liked it and the last thing she needed was to ruin it again by being kicked off the Cheerios. So, the blonde closed her locker – letting out a small sigh in the process – but began to make her way toward Sue’s office. Quinn had hated the moments she’d been out of this uniform and she certainly didn’t want to give it up. It made her popular and it made her feel safe, so this was really her only choice. She hoped it wouldn’t be as bad as she thought it was going to be.
The blonde entered Sue’s office, seeing a couple of girls and Mr. Schue already in there. Quinn recognized the girls when she saw their faces, Addison James and Adele Clark. She looked straight at Sue after she put names to the other girls in the room. “Sue, although I think this is kinda stupid. I guess I’ll have to join...” She muttered, before she looked back down at her uniform and at Sue once again.

There were times when Sue Sylvester's glorious triumphs, her in satiable quest for exaltation, and her indomitable hunger for victory astounded even herself. This was one of those moments. The New Directions girls were flocking to her like they were sheep and she was the Messiah. She almost felt bad for poor Wilma. If all the girls left his group, he would be left with a stumbling chorus of unattractive juvenile delinquents who couldn't win any more than Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. Almost felt bad, of course, as truthfully the Cheerios coach was greatly enjoying the disgruntled and distraught expression as girl after girl paraded into the room.
Rising from her chair, Sue wrapped a comforting arm around the shoulders of both Addison James and Adele Clark. "As it turns out, both you girls were on my short-list for potential recruits. You won't even have to audition," Sue declared happily, flashing a pearly white smile toward Schuester. She rolled her eyes as the falling choir director attempted to change Addison's mind, practically down on his knees and begging the girl to reconsider. Had the man truly gotten so desperate so quickly? "Oh William, stop. You're embarrassing yourself. If the girls want to join the SUEpremes, there is absolutely no way or reason for you to stop them. They are perfectly capable of making the right decision. for themselves."
Sue's sense of personal satisfaction and accomplishment grew even greater when the petite teenage form of Quinn Fabray entered the room. Addison and Adele were certainly good additions to the SUEpremes, but their neophyte status to the school meant they were relatively small draws. Quinn Fabray, Cheerios Captain and New Directions veteran, now that was a real steal. That would be a strong blow to the New Directions, and both she and Will Schuester knew it. Even though the girl admitted to thinking the whole thing was stupid, Quinn would be a powerful asset, and frankly, Sue did not make her living caring what teenagers thought. She made her living transforming them into unstoppable forces, and that was precisely what she would do with the ladies standing before her.
"I'll tell you what, Will. My kids are free to be in the New Directions as well, provided that you do not schedule your rehearsals at the same time as mine," Sue offered. It sounded like a nice, generous offer, but then Sue was not a nice, and generous woman. At least, not most of the time. She could not help it if she had already scheduled rehearsals for the SUEpremes at the exact same times that New Directions rehearsals had been for the past two years, and she especially could not help it that she had booked the auditorium every day after school until six, even when she was not holding rehearsal. Of course, Will would realize those details later.

Will scrunched up his face as if he ate a lemon well beyond its days! "I'm not begging Sue, its just seems like a rash idea. I'm just giving Addison an option to think about what she's doing." Begging! What an absurd thought, although he wasn't far from it. There'd only be a panic if more girls came in and signed up.
There was a paic.
First Adele, the number one Cheerio, clearly signing up to stay on Sue's good side (as if she had one!) and Quinn!! Of all the girls, Quinn really should have known what it was going to be like under the tyrannical rule of the tracksuited one! He did breathe a sigh of relief though when Quinn stated she thought the group was a dumb idea. Maybe some hope after all!!
He folded his arms over his chest. "Sue, I may have been born at night but I wasn't born last night," He bit his bottom lip slightly. "I worked with you long enough to know you have something plotted. I'll give you a benefit of a doubt though on this condition, I see your schedule first, in ink and there will be no changes to it once its in my hands."
