AFTER THE TUDORS
You watched the tumultuous reign of their father... now it's their turn. The year is 1551, and it's been four years since Henry VIII died and left the kingdom in the hands of his young son, Edward Tudor. Gossip is rife that the young king isn't up to the task at hand, that he is too sickly, or that he is too easily corrupted. Besides that, there are those who aren't happy with the direction their country is going in. Thanks to the Act of Uniformity that was passed in 1549, the Catholics and Protestants are even more divided, with the former wanting to see a Catholic monarch on the throne, while the latter maintain the Protestant way forward is the best. There have already been many uprisings against this, with each of them being put down. But suspicions in court are rife, and there isn't anyone the young and weak king can trust. Expect treachery, deceit and scandal at the court of Edward VI.

Join us for the relaunch of 'After The Tudors', an AU site that uses history as a guide, and takes aspects from the Tudors TV series, as well as the Elizabeth movies. It's up to you, the members, to decide the outcome of the site. Will the Protestant Edward remain king, or will he be triumphed by the Catholic Mary? And what of the young Elizabeth? She certainly stands as her brother's firm favourite, for they share the same beliefs and the same childhood, despite the rumours that circulated concerning his younger sister and the Baron of Sudeley, who was executed on the presumption of treason, thanks to the work of the Cromwells, who had sought retribution for the unlawful execution of their own grandfather many years before. Elizabeth has since denied there was any relationship between her and the baron, however she has suffered her own share of heartbreak.
