personailty:Kate is one of those girls that is seen as perfect. She can do no wrong; she listens to everything, and does as she is told to do. She is a nice girl who is kind to everyone and friends with everyone. She really would like to break past the whole "Good Girl” thing but she has no idea how to do it. She has always been who she is, and while she is confident in that she would like so danger or some excitement in her life. Kate feels like she needs some adventure in her life. She will do almost anything to get this adventure or danger that she craves she just has no idea how she will do it. Kate gets perfect grades, she is talented, and she is the youngest in her family so she is seen as getting whatever she wants. She is not one to show her emotions or feeling when she first meets you. Kate is smart and she takes all honors and some AP classes.

One of Kate's major flaws is that she is way to trusting. She will trust anyone that talks to her and is friendly. She can see this is a flaw but has no idea how to change it. She knows that being to trusting might get her into trouble, and might possibly hurt her. She is the kind of girl that believes everything she hears as she does not know any better. This is another one of her flaws that can be acknowledged by her but once again she has no idea how to fix as no one has ever told her how. She feels that she will not be completely happy until she finds the sense of danger, adventure, or excitement that she needs in her life. Another flaw is that she needs to really get to know someone before she if friends with the, Yes she wants to be friends with everyone but she really needs to get to know you before she decides if she will be your friend or not.

When people look at her on the outside they see the perfect girl who is perfect at everything she does. This is only because Kate really does not show her emotions well. If they were to really talk to her and ask her the right questions then her emotions would start to come out. She can be seen as meek and shy, when you first get to know her but she is more out going you just need to get to know her. The shyness when you first meet her is just her getting to know you. Kate finds that people just judge her by what they see and she knows that they would like her but she wants people in her school to stop judging her without talking to her.

Kate has two major fears in life one is Failure and not succeeding in what she wants to do. This is brought on by both herself and her mom who pushes her. Kate has times of self doubt when she over thinks things, and this usually causes her to think that she is not talented and that she will fail. Her mom adds to this fear of failure because she really push's Kate sometimes it is too far. Her other biggest fear is losing the ones she loves. This was brought on by losing her father when he was so young. Kate was devastated when her father died. She was very close to both her parents but maybe she was a little closer to her father. Her mother pushed her to be all she wanted and sometimes her mother pushed Kate to far. Her father loved her as her mother did but he did not push Kate like her mother did.

appearance: Kate stands at 5"5 and has light brown hair. She is on the skinny side due to being in VA and dance. She had blue eyes and medium length hair. She has no acne or any any other marks on her. She has pierced ears but no tattoos or anything.
history:Katelyn Laura Bassen, who has preferred to be called Kate as that is the name that her parents wanted her to be called when they named her. Was born on April 12th 1995 and is currently 16 years old. She has an older sister Jessica who is 18 and a freshman at New York University. Kate also has an older brother Jason who is 20 and at The University of Ohio. Kate is the youngest in her family and she has wanted a younger sibling so she could be the big sister that her brother and sister were to her. Kate lives with her mom as her dad died of a heart attack three years ago when Kate was 13.

Kate misses her dad still to the day and really does not like talking about the death of her dad as it brings up bad memories. She still remembers that her dad was not feeling well and stayed home from work that day. She, Jessica, and Jason went to stairs to let him know that they were home. Little did they know they would come home and find him dead and their mom next to him; she had told them that he had died of a heart attack.
Kate started performing when she was 3. She started with dance, moved onto privet voice lessons when she was 9 and her parents saw that she had a voice, and she started acting lessons when she was 10. She is in Aurel Intensity like most of the other student's at her school that excelled in music. VA is one of her favorite things in life and she has such a passion for performing in it. The other thing that is a huge part of her life is writing. She started writing poems and stories when she was 13 as a way for her to deal with her emotions and feelings over her father's death. Her mom discovered that Kate had a talent for writing even though a lot of her writing was dark as it talked about her feelings about her dad had passed and she really loved him and she started writing as a way to cope with her emotions. Kate at the time and still does, today saw writing as a form of escape from her life. When she first started it was about the sadness of her Dad's death and now it was just what ever was bothering her whether it is school, music, family, friends or whatever it was.
When Kate gets older she would like to be a performer or a writer. She knows that these are far fetched dreams, but she feels that she is confident in her abilities, and thinks she has what it takes to make it in life. She has known what she wanted to do what she wanted to do since she was 13. Before she was 13 she wanted to just be a performer, when she was 13 she discovered her talent for writing. Sure back then it was for the wrong reason maybe but she saw that she had a talent for it. She would like to go to New York University when she graduates and she would like to major in Musical Theater and minor in English or creative writing. Kate knows that her dad wanted her to follow her dreams and that he wanted her to do whatever she wanted to do in life. He would have wanted her to be happy with who she was.
