Jeremy had been working on his music for his solo audition for the Warblers. This was after going through about ten books of music, more sheet music than one could shake a stick at. He settled on Bare Naked Ladies 'It's All Been Done', it was a peppy tune and also easy to follow along.
He took a drink of his water, trying to keep his nerves in tact. Still there were others in the same boat as him, but he felt like he wanted it more. He was called in shortly, it was do or die time.
"Jeremy show us what you have." One of the head guys said, with a look of stone on his face.
Jeremy went to the piano and plunked a note to get the key. He cleared his throat and sang.

He kept his on the three, selling the song. As he reached the end, he was encouraged to keep going.

And if I play the same three chords,
Will you just yawn and say

The three looked between themselves. There was one thumbs up...two...and a third.
"Congrats Jeremy, you are a Warbler." The stone faced kid said rising pinning a warbler pin onto Jeremy's school jacket.
