Confused. If someone was to ask Rachel Berry to sum up her current state of mind confused would be the answer she would have to give and all because of one thing - Finn. Rachel knew she loved the tall jock - she had done since the moment she had heard his voice and laid eyes on him and he was something she couldn't have but of course nothing is ever what it seems in high school..and she did get him..but he screwed up..then she screwed up..it seemed to be a regular pattern in their relationship. When it was good, it was good but both of them seemed to take it in turns to screw up somehow.
The last month or so, Rachel had tried her best to get Finn to forgive her. For him to see that she was the one who cared for him, the one he was meant to be with but it soon became clear that Quinn was what he wanted. It was something she would accept, for a little while at least.
The date or work date should she say, that Finn had planned for them had been in New York. It had been perfect and everything she could have wished for but when he had gone to kiss her, she pulled away. She wasn't sure why but Rachel felt as if she had to. The next time they saw each other they were one stage performing pretending, a song that Finn had wrote. Rachel was in awe of the song, lyrically it was beautiful and she loved singing the words but once again she was face to face with Finn and in that moment, they had kissed. A small sigh escaped from Rachel's mouth as she shook her head and snapped back to reality. Glancing up, she ordered her coffee from the girl standing behind the counter and moved slightly down.
A few minutes later, Rachel gave the girl a small smile as she held out the coffee to her. Taking it from the girl, Rachel headed over to one of the empty tables that was almost hidden away from most of the others. Putting her coffee on the table she placed her elbows on the table and put her head in her hands and shook it slightly.
