Sky had run out of things to do in the summer holidays with a couple of more weeks to go until school started he was bored out of his mind. He knew of the outdoor swimming pool a couple of miles outside town, which was good for the summer season. On days like today it was a really good way to cool off, as he lounged by the side of the pool. He had sent a text to the other warblers, seeing whether any one wanted to hang out by a pool or in the pool. It was the perfect day for sun bathing or just swimming laps.
Not being to ashamed of his body as he looked around at most of the fat guys around the pool watching there kids. It amused him that at least one of the guys who had kids at this pool was watching him. Whether it was because they liked hi or they thought he was a threat to their wives he had no idea but he quite liked the attention. Pulling the cap of his sun screen he pushed a large dollope of it into his hand before rubbing it all over the front of his body and legs neck and face. He didn't really want to become a crispy critter out here, his mother would do her nut at him if he did get burnt. This was a great way to spend his day, their were some real hotties in the pool as he looked at them through his sunglasses. He had a couple of deck chairs around him that were free but his eyes were mainly looking around in the hope of seeing someone he knew. Pool was fun so long as their was someone to lark about in the pool with.

Lazy summer days. Truthfully, Blaine Anderson did not have a lot of them, so he tried to savor every moment when he could get it. Well, savor was maybe not quite the right word. Perhaps, lounge about and stay in bed until he had sufficiently made an imprint on his mattress, was more fitting. Well, maybe that was not fair, he had valiantly risen at one point to devour a bowl of cereal. After going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter, where a surprising number of people commented that he looked like he could play the protagonist, he felt entitled to take some time to recover today. Rolling over in his bed as he heard the playful tune of Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl, his text message ringtone. It was Skylar, another one of guys in the Warblers, checking if any of the a cappella crew wanted to hit the pool.
Blaine rolled back on his back, pondering the inquiry for a moment. He should probably go, he figured, his torso was pretty pathetically pale, and he could use the UV rays. Not to mention that he was trying to make an effort to spend some time with his friends this summer. He got so wrapped up in the relationship with Kurt, and while the counter-tenor was still his top priority, he still needed his friends as well. Groaning as he slumped out of bed, he reached for a pair of swimming trunks out of his dresser. Sending a text to his boyfriend to inform him of his whereabouts, he hopped in the car and headed off toward the pool.
Brown eyes hidden behind pink rimmed sunglasses, Blaine took in the surroundings. Boy, Ohio sure produced some interesting characters. Spotting the familiar face of a certain blond, the curly-haired Warbler grinned. Dropping his towel off on the lawn chair next to him, he commented, "Hey Sky. Am I the only one to show up so far?"
