Puck walked down the hall, glancing side inside as he went. Couples making out, kids getting pushed, some falling, the usual. A freshman kid with a Jew fro bumped into him. Puck looked at him, raised an eyebrow, then shoved the kid into a nearby open locker and slammed it shut. "What where you're going next time Schindler." he shook his head and kept walking. He winked at a hottie blond at her locker.
Puck had chemistry next period. What that means in Puckanese though is that next period, Puck has a free period. A free period to do whatever the he'll he wants. Today he was feeling some screwing with the band.
He walked into the band room, it was empty. He walked over to the instruments and began switching mouth pieces, untuningnthe stringed instruments and putting chewed gum on the chairs and on the keys of the instruments. As he was putting the conductors wand up high on top of the lockers, he heard a noise behind him and jumped down, sitting at the piano, as if playing it and not screwing with people. He looked up to see who was intruding on his mischief.

Quinn had decided to ditch geography, because she wasn’t in the mood for it. She was no good at geography and had only got a D last year at it; she just found it too boring. Though, she hardly ever ditched because of what her mum might say if she found out she had. After all, she was suppose to the perfect daughter with good grades and popularity. It had kind of gone down the drain when she was pregnant though. The blonde was trying to rebuild it all, but it was harder then she originally thought it would and would take a lot more time than she’d anticipated. She wouldn’t give up, she never did.
So, the blonde was walking down the corridor towards the door that led to the sports field when she heard a noise. Of course, her curiosity took over and she went to go see what it was. To be honest, she wasn’t surprised to see Puck messing around. It was kind of the usual now, but somehow she still found it hilarious. “Hey Puck!” She shouted, laughing. “Whatcha doin?” She muttered, walking over to investigate his mischief.

Puck wasn't sure if he was pleasantly or unpleasantly surprises to see his ex and vaby momma, Quinn standing there. It took him a few seconds until he managed to just squeeze out a few words "Just...ya know, glee stuff." he went for it and hit a couple white keys and black keys together, attempting a chord. It was a terrible failure. He laughed a little. "I'll just stick to guitar." he said, pickin up the stringed instrument and strummed a nice c chord. Then another.
"So what have you been up to Quinny? Preggo? Ready to pop out someone else's Eggo?" Puck didn't know why he was saying. He stilled loved Quinn, he couldn't deny that. There was just nothing he could do about it. Or was there? Wasn't Schuester always talking about expressing through song? Was it worth it Arthur point? Could give it a shot. "Sorry, that was dumb. Here, listen."
He strummed another C chord, then a G, then an Am, finally an F, and back to C which he repeated a couple times, then began to sing.
"Don'tyou worry There my honey, We may not have any money But we've got our love to pay the bills."
Puck hoped he would jump in with the next verse. He'd never really seen er pass up an opportunity to showcase her talent.

Quinn smiled at him when he lied about the whole ‘Glee Club’ thing; it was so obvious to her that he was lying. Then, when he tried to play a chord on the piano but failed dreadfully, she let off a little giggle. “Yeah, you really should stick to the guitar.” The blonde commented, pushing her fringe out of her eyes and behind her ear. She had to admit, she did still enjoy his company. Somehow, he always managed to make her laugh and smile, even though most of the things he said were insensitive or just plain mean. It didn’t really bother her anymore, she’d gotten used to it. Although, when he started on the whole pregnancy thing it seemed to cut her like a blade. But Q was a strong girl and didn’t let how much it actually stung, show.
Getting pregnant with Puck had been a mistake, a massive mistake that she shouldn’t have made. It ruined her school life for the whole of the rest of the year, which had seriously got her depressed. Of course, Glee helped her feel accepted and like she belonged but it couldn’t match up to the safety and security of a Cheerio’s uniform. Especially not when she was getting slushies poured in her face all the time and constant torment from Santana, Sue and nearly the whole football team (apart from the ones in New Directions, of course). She never wanted to speak of that year again, but she knew she couldn’t escape it but she could try and shove it under a rug.
Quinn was about to speak, but Puckerman spoke before she even had a chance to open her mouth. That’s when he apologized, which drowned out the annoyance she had for him at mentioning it. Puck never apologized, so when he did you always knew that he meant it. He then started singing; of course Quinn knew the song and wasn’t gonna give up a chance to sing. Singing was the only thing that had kept her from losing it back when she was a sophomore and since then she’d never turned down an opportunity to use her voice. So, when he’d finished she had to join in. “Maybe I think you’re cute and funny, Maybe I want to do what the bunnies do with you, If you know what I mean.” The blonde sang, smiling.

Puck smile widely as Quinn joined in the song. he raised an eyebrow when she mentioned the bunny line. Quite ironic for the two of them. Beth. He wanted her. It was almost instinct in him. Deep down, he felt like he was Doug the same to her as his father had done to him. He knew it was a completely different situation but still couldn't help feeling that way. That was his baby. His baby girl. And he just let her go, Quinn just let her go. How could they do that? Create such a beautiful thing and then just pass it off.
Puck joined back in on the chorus, hoping Quinn and him could sin it together, just one time through. He would take harmony. He knew she always liked to have the melody. Quinn was one of the only people Puck would actually go out of his way to benefit as oppose to out of his way to hurt. One of her many special qualities. It was almost as if she had a spell over him. One that caused him to be unable to do anything except want her.
"Let's get rich and buy our parents homes in the south of France
Let's get rich and give everybody nice sweater And teach them how to dance
Let's get rich And build a house on a mountain Making everybody look like ants
From way up there You and I You and I"
Puck paused after he had finished. "Good lyrics, don't you think?"

Quinn sang the chorus with him, smiling. There were only two boys in the Glee Club her voice went well with and it felt natural when she sang with them, one of the two was Puckerman. She felt as if they were sophomores again, luckily she knew she wasn’t, but it felt that way and it was sort-of nice. She couldn’t help but smile all the way through it as they both sung; it was nice in a very weird way. After all, they’d broken up a long time ago and she’d sort of got over shim as well. Though, as they sung here and now, she felt something different. She didn’t know what it was, but it made her see Puck in a different way. She knew they’d never be together again, after meeting Max especially. But them both being here and singing that song, it made her feel like maybe she still had some feelings for him.
The blonde tried to push that thought out of her mind, but she couldn’t. It just stayed there like stupid, old brick wall which she couldn’t move. So, as the song finished she was feeling a little bit weary. Her love life was already confused enough, why did she now have to realize Puck was back in the race for her heart? Why couldn’t life just be simple and easy, like it use to be? Instead, she had to put up with going from the heart breaker to the heartbroken and back again. It made her feel like maybe she was a slut, maybe she was everything those bullies on the football team called her. Quinn let out a small sigh, before returning to the real world from her own little on inside her own mind. “Yeah.” She muttered, she couldn’t stop herself and when it was out she wished she’d said ‘No’ because Q knew Puckerman would take that a way which she hadn’t meant, or had she meant it? Quinn was so confused, she honestly didn’t know which way to turn but she didn’t show her confusion. Instead, she kept a small smile on her face and looked at the floor from where she was standing.

She replied with a yeah. A simple yeah. Yet that one simple word said so much. She still had feelings for him. He assumed it, he had a good feelig about it, but now, that one word confirmed it. Innocent blonde falling for jock with a Mohawk. This led to so much more though. What were they going to do? She turned him down before but now what? It wouldn't be easy to get her to get with him again after everything that had happened, but maybe he could manage. He would have to put on his prince charming act. Now that phase 1, put her in a trance with music, was over, it was time to move to phase 2; get her to openly admit her feelings...either by words or actions.
"So what happened with Finn? I thought you two were gonna last a while this time." completely false, but hey, it would get her started with talking about her love life. Puck knew it was Rachel that came between the two of them. Hestly, he's not really sure why though. He dated Rachel once, she wasn't worth it. She didn't put out at all. Although then again, Finn seems to be a little timid in that area, so it's not so shocking. But still, how can a guy, even a timid guy, dump this beautiful piece of blonde wonder in front of him. Especially with how much she does put out.
He hoped to get her all worked up about Finn and all teary eyed, then swoop in and save the day while she's all dad and vulnerable. It was flawless. Plus, she wouldn't see it coming. She'll be so caught up in her emotions, she won't even notice.

Quinn’s smile faded a little when she mentioned Finn, after all their break-up hadn’t actually been that long ago and she had only recently got over that heart break. She thought that maybe this time it would be different, maybe this time it would work out and they would finally have their own little ‘happily ever after’. Though, it turned out the complete opposite and only ended in tears. The blonde had spent most of the beginning of summer crying about him, what did Rachel have that she didn’t? The whole school preferred her to that bossy, silly, unpopular and unstylish brunette, so why didn’t Finn? That was the only thought that ran through her mind during the first couple of weeks of summer break, it was horrible. But when Quinny finally had gotten over him, she started to have a lot more fun and realized that first love’s sometimes aren’t meant to be forever, which seemed overly true in her own little mind.
So, as she sat with Puck and stared at the ground beneath her feet she couldn’t help but wonder how hard Finn took the break up? She didn’t think he’d taken it as bad as she had, but she also wondered whether he’d cried over it too. She doubted that too, because she knew he was still stuck on Rachel and who was she to object? At least he’d dumped her before he started going after the brunette again, unlike Quinn had to both Finn and Sam. She felt so bad about that, but she’d never admit it. Mainly because she didn’t know how to and had a feeling if she tried to, she’d just end up messing it up like usual. After all, she’d never been good with words and the only things she was good at were cheerleading, singing and being a complete bitch. That’s why sometimes she completely hated herself and everything high school had made her, but she also loved how close it had brought her to people.
“Well, I hoped that maybe we would’ve been but when push comes to shove, some things just aren’t meant to be.” She muttered, a little sadness showing in her voice. She had loved Finn, with all of her heart she’d loved him, but he didn’t share the same feelings and she couldn’t be in a relationship were only she loved. It had been a doomed decision from the very start and sometimes she wondered why she’d even bothered with him. Though, now she’d met Max it didn’t seem to bad and she felt something between her and Puck now, which she didn’t know how to interpret. She knew that it couldn’t possibly be love, because if it was she’d of realized already...wouldn’t she? To be honest, she wasn’t good with her feelings so as far as she could tell it might’ve been. She did love Max; she’d realized that the first time their eyes had met that day in the girls’ bathrooms when she’d slushied the football team. This was a different kind of love though, like an old love regenerated and she was so confused about her feelings that this felt so real and like such a nice moment between them both. “I guess me and Finn are just a bad couple, but I’m over him now...” She muttered, though she was almost crying from her confusion, the feelings she felt for Puck and Sam and Max were just too much for her to cope with. Quinn never wanted to make any of the mistakes she’d made in the past, so why she feel like this now? Tear’s started pooling in her eyes, but she tried her hardest to hold them back scared that if she cried that first tear, that they wouldn’t stop.

Puck could tell how worked up she was getting. He felt like she was going to burst into tears any minute. She just sat there, staring at the ground feeling defeated. He felt bad for her. He outstretched his hand and placed it on her leg. He squeezed gently and lowered his hand trying to make eye contact.
She seemed so confused. With love. He felt it too. He really did like Quinn. Sure she was a bitch sometimes, but then was just something about her. And then there was Lauren. She was just something out of this world to Puck. And of course Santana. He felt here would always be tension between the two of them. Did he love Quinn? Yes. Enough? He didn't know. He's not sure he would ever know, but what he did know is right now, in this very moment, he felt something very strong for her. He moved his hand up a little on her leg. Not really in a sexual way, but a comforting one.
"Look Quinn. Enough beating around the bush. We both feel it right here and right now. Don't even try and deny it. There IS something between us." Puck stood up and walked over behind her chair. He put his hands on her shoulders and bent down next to her ear, as close as he could get. "Why do you go after such losers? Look at me Quinn. You belong with a guy like me. Not some blubbery dough boy, or some new kid win an oversized mouth, and not some new kid who nobody even knows that well." He kissed her cheek gently and sat back down next to her, looking he dead in the eye.

The blonde felt Puck place his hand gently on her leg and she had to say, it was comforting. He always had managed to get through to her when nobody else could, she remembered that. That was one of the things Quinn had loved about him when they were dating and when she was pregnant. No matter how worked up or upset she got, he’d be there for her and would calm her down in some way. The way Puck acted all badass all the time around everyone made it seem impossible that he could have a soft side, but he did and Quinn was happy that he would show it to her because they were times like this when she needed someone there for her. So, it pleased her that Puck was here, now. It made her feel more comfortable, even while she was almost crying her heart out.
When he got up and began talking, she listened to him. She knew what he was saying when he mentioned that there was something between them, because quite frankly there was. The blonde could feel it as much as he could and she couldn’t deny it at all. She didn’t know how strong the feeling was, but all she knew was that it definitely was there. That’s when he started asking why she had feelings for Finn, Sam and Max. As she mentioned the other guys it made the first couple of tears roll down her face, but she wasn’t crying her eyes out, she was just confused and it all seemed too much. Though, when Puck kissed her check the sadness was overloaded by that awkward feeling that surrounded them. The awkward, yet emotional feeling that she’d been trying to deny ever since they’d broken up.
Quinn didn’t dare look Puckerman in the eyes, but she couldn’t help it. The blonde swallowed, trying to hold herself together. “Puck, I’m not going to lie to you.” She began as another tear rolled down her cheek and she looked at him. “I do feel it between us; I feel it every time we’re together and every time I look at you.” She admitted, truthfully, “But our relationship....it’s just I don’t feel for you like I feel for the others anymore. I do still love you, but I’m not sure if it’s enough.” Her eyes dropped to the floor as she spoke the last sentence.

In a way, this hurt Puck horribly to hear. That the feeling wasn't the same. It's true, it's not, it's something greater. Even if she doesn't realize it now, she will. At the same time though, Puck really didn't care. He knew she would come around eventually. And until then, he had free run to do what he wants to, with whoever he wants to. She'll see him with other girls, she'll get jealous. It will all work out in the end. It just needs time.
"Alright Quinn. If that's what you want. To be with one of those loses, fine. Lie to yourself. I really don't give a shit." It was obvious how upset she was getting over this conversation and Puck definitely realized it, but at the same time, he really diet care. She had hurt him multiple times before. Hurt him horribly in fact. Maybe it was just a one night stand where he knocked her up, but that was his baby. He'll never forgive her for that. Puck just wanted to be with Quinn and Beth. That's all he wanted, but that just had to get ruined. So now, he'll wait. He'll wait for Quinn to come to her senses.
"You and I have shared more together than they have all 3 combined, and yet you act like it's nothing. We had sex Quinn and no matter how emotionless sex with me can be sometimes, it wasn't with you. It was different. And we made a life together Quinn. So kid yourself all you want with them, any of them, it's nothing compared to me and you know it. Once you stop being so scared of me, of us, maybe we can finally be what we're supposed to be." He paused. "A couple Quinn."
Puck stood up, by bent over in front of her, so his face was right in front of hers. "Have a good time with Max, Quinn. Don't ever expect me to like him though or even be a decent human being towards him." and with that he closed the gap between them and flared up a long, passionate kiss. Then he pulled away and walked out of the room, leaving Quinn to her vandalized band room alone with just her and her thoughts. Girls...sometimes too easy to manipulate.

Quinn sighed as Puck was obviously annoyed with how she’d replied, but she’d never been any good with words anyway. In fact, she was probably the worst speaker in the history of the planet – well, apart from Brittany that is. Though, she hadn’t been able to think of any other way to say it. She lifted her eyes from the floor to look up at Puck, who just looked like his normal, everyday self. She must have looked a mess compared to him, which kind of made her feel a slight bit worse about herself. She hardly ever broke down like this in front of anyone, she tried to keep it all locked up inside. Her family had raised her like that; if nothing was said or seen, it didn’t exist. So, Quinn always tried to stop anyone from seeing her cry. After all, it didn’t help her reputation much, did it?
Then, she watched Puck as he carried on talking even though it was obvious that the blonde was really upset. That was one thing she admired about Puckerman, he never let other people’s emotions affect him. It was a skill that she certainly didn’t have, especially when it came to boys and love. So, she couldn’t help but wish she had that ability to overlook other people’s feelings like he could. She listened to every word he had to say, never interrupting even when she wanted to because she knew most of what he was saying was the truth. The blonde wasn’t sure about the whole ‘we’re meant to be a couple’ thing, but she knew the rest was just the utter truth. So, she couldn’t argue with that.
That’s when he mentioned about Max "Have a good time with Max, Quinn. Don't ever expect me to like him though or even be a decent human being towards him." Puck said, looking her straight in the eye, his face only inches away from her own. She didn’t get what he meant by ‘or even be a decent human being towards him’, but she knew that it wasn’t a good sign. That’s when she was about to speak, because she was pretty sure that he’d just finished his own little speech. As soon as she was about to open her mouth his lips met hers, closing the small gap that was between them. Quinn knew she should’ve recoiled or at least tried to push him away, but she couldn’t. There was something about that kiss which stopped her in her tracks and she couldn’t help kissing him back. She sat, slightly shocked if she was honest, and what the badass football play leave the room.
